WHY AN OCDs NEEDED MEDICAL ATTENTION?

The OCD Syndrome. (obsessive-compulsive disorder)

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental anxiety disorder which produces repeated thoughts or images about many different things, such as fear of germs, dirt, or intruders; acts of violence; hurting loved ones; sexual acts; or being overly tidy.IMG_20180301_203833.jpg

These people are perfectionists.

How many of you have noticed that there are people who are extremely neat and careful with their personal belongings?

They can't cook in a dirty kitchen, they can't pee in a wet and untidied toilet, they have sanitizers everywhere in the car, kitchen, handbags etc.
Before they eat, they will wash their hands uncountable times with a disinfectant and soap. They can't sleep on a bed that is not well dressed. If you use their toilet, after you leave, they will pour disinfectant in it and wash it again.
They brush their mouth three times daily.

If you walk into the house of someone who has OCD, everywhere is clean and well dusted. An OCD washes all the times. They don't keep dirty panties or boxers. Their handbags are usually well arranged, their boxes well kept neatly.
Most OCDs that I know can't live with people.
A real OCD person doesn't even know that he or she is OCD. They will simply tell you they love their things to be kept neat.

My question now is, can someone explain to me why these acts needs medical attention.
