Minnow II – Getting Ahead of Myself

I agree with you regarding taking time to prepare and edit work. I normally read my posts again the next day. This is very important for my longer posts 3,000+ words. When I write for journals or conferences, I get my first draft ready long before the submission date so that I can take a break from it.

I recommend against using bots. I used them for a while over a year ago. It's not worth it. Heavily bot upvoted posts are very unattractive as they have a high value and curation rewards from upvoting after a bot is not worth it.

If I comment on a trending post, I normally offer a token 1% upvote. If this post had a pending payout of less than $1, I would have given you more.

Authors get paid when people like you upvote their post.

In the future, I might change my workflow to wait a day or two before bribing the bots to send the post to the trending page. That should give the humans a better share of curation rewards and help me more accurately determine when I have outgrown the need for robotic assistance.
