Some of The Victims of the Bubonic Plague

The Bubonic Plague otherwise known to some as The Infamous Black Death. It was one of the most devastating pandemics in human history, resulting in the deaths of an estimated 75 to 200 million people in Eurasia( the word used to refer to Europe and Asia since they are almost one big Continent) and peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351.

The Black Death is estimated to have killed 30–60% of Europe's total population. In total, the plague may have reduced the world population from an estimated 450 million down to 350–375 million in the 14th century. It was a devastating loss to mankind and it took almost 400 years for the World to attian it former population.

During the height of the bubonic plague, it is estimated to have killed about 20% of the population of London. As such mass burial pits were dug throughout the city. Due to a lack of accurate record, when a building project begins often these graves are discovered once more.
