Time To Drop the Newbie Skin: 2 Months Old Today!

Today I'm officially 2 months old in Steemit.

Today I feel like it's time to drop the newbie skin. I no longer feel like a newbie or a newborn Steemian and start to feel how everything works here.

I still have a long way to go, and many things to learn, but as a friend of mine always says:

One month in Steem is one year in "real life" - @underground

Today I'm going to review my second month and go over what objectives did I meet and what objectives did I fail to meet... and the surprises, friends and allies that I met along the way.

Finally, I can only thank each and every one of you guys for the constant support, upvotes, resteems and comments.

I can only assure you I'm invested in Steem, as you can see by the fact that my introduction post was 100% power up - I always was!

My 2nd Month Recap: Finding New Friends and Allies

On my first month, I stated I began my Steemit voyage alone and isolated.

Well, when I started my second month here I already had many good friends to support me, so I can attest to the fact that it gets easier as you go.

On the other hand, my posts were no longer giving me $0.01 as on the first days of the first month, so that was an advantage as well.

I went over last month's post summary and I found my first friends aren't "with me" anymore, and I kept @blazing and @chelsea88 as the others went on their own paths, who got further and further from my own... just like offline friendships I guess... I still love them all.

Warm hugs for those fighting on other fronts and a huge "thank you" to @chelsea88 and @blazing for making an effort to keep in touch.

I tried to make an effort on my end as well :)

Finally, I still have a lot of friends from the second half of the first month, friends that have since became my Steemit family.

I'm talking about @underground, @vincentnijman, @rt395, @eonwarped, @inquiringtimes and @dawnsheree.

More Than Family: My Team, My Circle, My Imperial Guards

Altough Im still of the opinion followers are the core of your support, I am grateful for spotting the "warriors" I would have by my side to this day, and the minds that will accompany me throughout my journey - or at least I feel like that will be the case now.

I would trust any of them with my posting keys anyday of the week.

I trust them and I have their backs, and I'm sure they have mine.

I will support them and watch them grow as they've become my arms and my hearts!

I'm talking about the Inner Circle of my newborn community - the Crypto Empire.

One Less Delegation: One More As Well - Plus Crypto Empire Goes Live!!

It just so happened that at the beggining of my second month I reached 1K Steem Power and graduated @taskmaster4450 1KSP program.

As such, I lost the 500 SP delegation from @underground.

On the other hand, now on the second month's late half, I seem to have caught the attention of @fulltimegeek and I had a 1K delegation given to me by him, with no word - if you're reading this, thanks!

Finally, since we're talking about attention, I would love to let you know of my Crypto Empire Post, a post I can recommend reading if you want to join my community.

One of the things it includes is an Embassy Program were communities are given a presence within the empire in the form of an embassy they are free to manage however they like, to promote better relationships and interactions among all blockchain's communities and projects.

So far, the Crypto Empire has the following embassies:

• Bumper Embassy- @bumper and @flagship 's home and vote bot service for minnows;
• SteemitBC's Embassy - An umbrella for communities with over 700 members and the project of my friends @rt395, @paulag and others I still didn't have the pleasure to meet.
• SmartSteem's Embassy - @therealwolf's vote buying and selling market among other stuff (check Smartsteem.com)

There are some more embassies being built already, but I still didn't launch them on a post of their own, so stay tuned for that to know who are the new brands, communities and projects joining the Crypto Empire.

Objectives: What I Achieved and What Next

I'm now going to discuss my objectives for the third month and how I met or didn't meet the objectives I had for my second month.

Let's start by going over what I had at the end of my first month (remember that I never invested, it was all work so the goals are adjusted accordingly)

At the end of my first month, I had:

• 53 Reputation;
• 411 Followers;
• 245 Steem Power.

My goals for my second month were:

700 Steem Power;
1000 Followers;
61 Reputation;

So, what goals did I reach, and what goals did I fail to reach?

Followers: I aimed to have 1000 followers by the end of the second month. I met this goal and I now have 1667 Followers.

That's +600 followers than I expected, which is great.

Steem Power: I expected to have 700 SP owned by the end of my second month. I now have 1215 Steem Power owned.

That's +515 SP more than I expected.

Reputation: It seems that I couldn't meet this goal... I failed to reach this objective and I now have 59.8 reputation.

That's -1.2 Reputation than expected.

Overall, I feel that I was pretty successful even though I didnt hit the expected 61 in rep.

I built a new community and started a couple of projects and partnerships that, to me, are superior.

New Goals: What do I expect from my 3rd Month?

So, it's time to set new goals to try to reach.

Well, I'm going to aim at having, by the end of my third month, the following:

64 Reputation;
2500 Followers;
2500 Steem Power.

I feel like I'm aiming high, but I am still hopeful I'll be able to keep up my growth rate and do it.
