I have just joined, and voted down one post for being not very well written. And then I saw your post, so now I will read more about it :)
There should probably be some generally accepted community policy on that...

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
