Worrisome!? Exciting!? Ridiculous!?
After reading @elyaque 's excellent post, Freedom for Everyone? ... we have to give this some serious thought. This account, @freedom, has been on STEEMIT since March of 2016 .. he (or it) is undoubtedly known to @ned and @dan. Having some 'one', or some group, with nearly 1 million dollars invested in this thing, and who has near unparalleled power, save for the founders, and is able to either very positively impact the environment, or otherwise if they so choose, I believe we should have some knowledge of who or what this is!!
Give it a rest! The beauty of STEEMIT is that anyone can be as public or as private as they want to be with their identify, but not their activity on the blockchain, which is uncensorable. That's a feature - not a bug...

It is most somebody who has been here since March and therefore they are as much a threat to the system now as they always have been. They are pulling the SP from many accounts into one, which means they always had that power just in different accounts so this is not really a new whale at all.
But since we haven't seen any suspicious behaviour of any of the accounts owned by @freedom we have no reason to suspect him or her of anything other that keeping their head down up until now.
