Living with a Steemer is...

in steemit •  9 years ago

  • Hearing them rush naked from the bathroom to the computer shouting "Honey, I have a wonderful topic to write about";
  • convincing them that 3 a.m. is high time to sleep, not to submit a new post;
  • making them count in normal currency, not in SBD or BTC (Well, darling, that skirt's price is 0,032 BTC, that seems to be too expensive);
  • discussing some of their most crazy ideas;
  • using the term "whale" speaking about their mother-in-law;
  •  listening to their trying to convert you into steemainism;
  • reading every their post even if you don't give a damn what the difference is between "ask" and "bid";
  • proofreading their posts to find missprints (and you are lucky if your mother tongue is English, otherwise your room is flooded with dictionaries and to go to the kitchen you need to pass a labyrinth with a Minotaur);
  • changing your day rhythm to be more like "their potential readers";
  • watching them reloading Steemit page every ten minutes (and this is the first thing they do waking up);
  • knowing that even if they are not sitting with their laptops on their knees they keep on working hard trying to make up a good idea for their new post;

  • realizing that every photo they take is potentially on Steemit already;
  • experiecing splashes of their generosity every time they succeed;
  • understanding that they are addicted and feeling their passion;
  • knowing that Steemit is a bit more than just a source of external income;
  • finally becoming converted into steemainism and starting family competitions in the number of upvotes.
