Steemit.city is coming to Steemfest!

in steemit •  8 years ago

Hi, @menta again today.

Steemit.city HQ is bustling these days. Besides scouting several great properties and having fruitful conversations with internet service providers, we also had a chat with @roelandp and aligned ourselves with Steemfest.

Yours truly will be giving a 20-minute presentation on Steemit.city project, our visions and goals, and the current status.

All of us are currently bootstrapping this project and also funding it with our own resources. Bringing all 3 of us to Amsterdam will give us a financial hit that will set the project back a few months. We're aiming to scrape together the needed funds with a ton of Steemit.city information posts and our own resources.

We are looking for new members to join our project as well. If you have an interest in joining a community of crypto-enthusiasts in a tropical and lush environment, and with awesome internet connections and co-working capabilities, then reach out to @faddat or @menta in the comments or on steemit.chat.

Not interested in joining at this exact moment but perhaps just want to come for a small holiday? That's going to be possible as well! We'll even give away a free 2-week stay during Steemfest!

We would love your input! Tell us what Steemit.city should look like in this ridiculously small, 5-question google form (completely anonymous):

Answer The 5 Questions

Stay tuned for a lot more information the coming days such as a mission statement, possible projects for Steemit.city, and info about our location and accommodation. We also have a new member in the team!

See you on Steemfest, hopefully!
