A Social News Blog for SteemIt.
TheDailySteemIt is going to hire a few people to post on a few topics to start (more will be included as we go) and produce a daily blog Ezine for peeps. It will take place both on SteemIt itself of course @thedailysteemit, and TheDailySteemIt.com / http://www.thedailysteemit.com.

I'd definitely be interested in the News section. Have done a couple of "news" posts here and here but they were meant more for general discussion than reporting.
My only qualifications are that i'm plugged in to the news as long as i'm awake. :)

hello @steemitqa and all here. what a great idea.i have only just found this today. Dear Steemit ( Dear Abby section) i would like to share the job three ways - with two other steemians @connecteconomy is keen (we are looking for an hilarious third) - then the person writing in could get an answer from three of us. i will tell the other two about this now. i envisage that one of the three is really extra hilarious- i am asuming that this Dear Abby is a parody and not serious - and also, no one person will become burnt -out, as there are two others.

Wow...you have read my mind. I have wanted to post about making a network of users under "one banner", basically "The Unofficial STEEMIT News" page. Great idea and I love the approach and rewards system. I would absolutely be interested in writing for your publication and can write about a variety of topics including politics, news, editorials on politics, technology, health and wellness, preparedness* (survival and "prepper" techniques and tips), even sports but I feel someone would likely do better with that, able to watch all the games that I couldn't. I have been trying to pin down a "niche" in STEEMIT & you can see in my blog that I have covered many of the topics I have mentioned. I think this idea is EPIC and we can really make some GREAT additions to the STEEMIT Blockchain together, even if I am not a part. I also play PC video games and Nintendo Games (Wii U, Switch), also Retro games from SNES, NES, Genesis, N64, etc. I would love to review the latest CPU's, GPU's and monitors and maybe we can even network some product reviews and get some free samples for us to review and return which would be great. If it works out I am sure we could be head-to-head with ither tech blogs like LinusTech and I have the ability to make videos with my Canon DSLR and can edit video as well as write the blog itself. Who knows, maybe one day we will have an official STEEMIT White House Correspondent or news team, flying into the current big event (news location, political rally, sports game, Tech and Comic Conventions (CONS). Well, look at this shameless self promoter, babbling on. Oh, I also have a degree in Literature and Journalism and a BS in Pre-Medicine/Biology and another BSN in Nursing and am working on my MS in Healthcare Management. Perhaps you could add your expertise in photography in creating unique and original, perhaps corresponding imagery, to go along with articles (blogs) written by other bloggers in the network. I am sure there would be a lot of writers that may need photos of things that they themselves aren't the best equipped for. Just an idea.

It'd be down to writing about soccer. Even though the regular season ended, the transfer market is starting and there will be plenty of rumors and activity. The u-20 world cup is on and the Confederations Cup is soon to start.
I could also write a bit about politics although my views may be polemic on this site.

Yeah I think every writer is going to have to go through an Office 2016-like .exe and then transfer it over to a STEEMIT blog. I spend time reading my posts right afterwards and noticing all the typos that would not occur if I was at my mechanical keyboard and PC rather than my iPhone SE or iPad mini 3 (both 64Gb). See, told you I was into tech, haha. I can get deep into it as well as I not only have a lot of PC knowledge but also cell phones, tablets, laptops, building PC's and even jailbreaking and rooting devices to give you open access to your personal handhelds. It is always good to have a geek in your geek squad and I think I fill that quota 🤓
