[To SteemIt Whales] How about no more Upvoting Celebs for a week ?

Maybe, we can get a vow from the whales that they won't purposely target all the celebs who show up on the SteemIt platform ? Can we get a verbal vow ( in comments ) you won't do this and only support minnows submissions? What does the community think about this ? I SAY WE GET OUR GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY BACK!

I miss the grassroots political voice we had here to begin with. All the anarchists that were getting paid for outlandish socialist theory aren't getting paid and have either left or just don't care about their accounts anymore. I say you're onto something. We need to spread the wealth a lot smarter. If I were a whale I know where I would be spending my curation power, on good original and informative content that teaches people new things, not rants about bugger all that by the end of it you feel like you've wasted ten years of your life.. Just my opinion.

There's also the fact that there's not enough whales to vote everyone's content and that they're working hard to promote steemit by any means necessary. Upvoting celebrities is a good way to reel in their fan base. However they're forgetting, if you reel in that fan base through the promise of money, you better be able to pay those fans... What a conundrum we're experiencing.
