Uplift Minnows Initiative
The Idea:
This idea is to maximize the ‘promote post’ feature and allow minnows to get more exposure to their stories, or services on SteemIt, but on a budget. If every day, or every week this account (we’ll be shifting to a new account shortly @advertise) be in the top five on the promo tab and you pay $3-5 you will reap the rewards of being on the top of SteemIt! Promote Post as a minnow is turning out to be a problem for some so the power of many seems more logical.
Also, going forward we’ll be throwing the same amount daily/weekly, or even more toward the post reaching the top. As it stands $100 can get us all on the front page of SteemIt Promote. If 40 of us minnows throw in $5 for the day we can sit our submissions on top. Not only that ALL SBD that are earned by this post will go into “promote post” itself thus helping you get free future advertising for your submissions! We’ll be building out this post as we go as you can see we have a “Services” Category.
If you wish to get our upvote, just tag us with a SteemIt tag of #upliftminnows and we’ll find your post. All proceeds of the post will go back to you so essentially you could have a free advertisement.

edit: Some reason I can't reply to your comment below this is odd stuff. This will one of many posts ( obviously, without the text heavy stuff on top ,just a directory). But, the next post will be cleaned up with a true directory type feel. Good question.

Thanks for putting time into this. Still confused on some of the specifics....when the post on the promote is finished, is the money made from the main post distributed to the featured people? How will it be distributed...by the percentage you invested in the promote? I understand who is listed first, but I am not sure how the money is distributed. I am poor on SD at the moment but I have my folk song written and should be putting that up in 4 or 5 hours or so.

Yes, the money is given back out to the people who posted submissions. Theoretically, someone could get free advertising ( get their money back) via what the post earns. It is basically whatever the post earns if its less then whatever everyone put in then it could be the case. But, we pay back everyone who put in the most first and go down the list if this make sense. So the people who put in $5 would get paid back first from the post earnings and go down the line. I can help you out because we talked before about your folks song! which I was pretty excited about! whatever you can come up with I'll match it. Let me know if this works for you ?
