I think Steem should combine Busy together so it has the best of both worlds, Then it would have the easy of use of Facebook and the feel of the original Steemit platform. Busy is great but it just adds to confusion to new users.
It is important for people to feel they are in a space, on facebook they "feel" they are in a particular space.
I think video will do better on Busy because it tends to highlight the video first.
Steemit doesnt do that,it features the image first. So that means the result of the type of viewer must be affected.

If you on Busy you are still on Steemit but it "feels" different.

It could cause some confusion about what service they are using.

steem ftw!

It's up to us to make it happen. Spread the word

Agreed, will do.

Steem is doing just fine.

I don't think that Steemit should compete with Facebook as long as those platforms are quite differents.

Steemit is more a blogging platform with some social features, not a social platform like Facebook, Twitter or Google+.

Steemit should be competing against WordPress, Medium and Tumblr. Many Google+ users are writing long posts, so maybe they should also be considered, although being considered very often as a social platform.

The problem is that sites like Facebook have very powerful gravity and it's hard for people to break away.

I loved this sentence. I think that it has been the first time I have read "gravity" when talking about Facebook and its users.
