I've created a decentralized STEEM payment gateway much like the way Bitpay works for those who asks themselfs what a payment gateway is.
The current stage is early Alpha, meaning the backbone is functional and ready to get implemented.
What i'm looking for to proceed to Beta stage:

What languages does the gateway wrapper need to be coded in for easy implementation? Currently there is a PHP wrapper completed in Laravel. Let me here what you need and i'll translate and implement the wrapper for you!
Should there be easy plugin modules for major shopping cart systems?
People with some programming skills to debug and help testing the gateway.
Once i move on to the Beta stage, I'll be looking for a dozen of people who can implement the gateway and do rigorous testing with the plugin. The goal is that you've already have a webshop up and running and simply offer the option to pay by Steem. Your webshop needs to be trusted and active before Beta access will be given to avoid abuse and negativity towards Steem.
About the gateway
Decentralized payment gateway
Unlike Bitpay and other payment processors, you'll need to run your own Steem node. There will be an optional setup where users with no knowledge can use a node hosted and setup by us.
The main goal however is to keep it decentralized, so you don't have to rely on a third party to manage your funds.
Users have to option to pay in STEEM, or in SteemDollars before checkout.
The gateway will be open source!
Since you claim a decentralized payment gateway that is OpenSource, I would love to see your current stage of development in a public github repository.

I'll proceed to cleaning up the code today and make the first development stage public on Github.
The focus is indeed on SteemDollars, but it will be optional to accept and pay using STEEM as well.
