10 Slightly Compelling Reasons James Altucher should Choose Himself on Steemit

in steemit •  8 years ago  (edited)

James Altucher can change your life.

Or at least he has changed mine.

1. James Will Probably NOT Come Because He Isn’t a Likely Investor In Steem As Far As Speculation And Investments Go

Rather he would come because he is invested in helping people improve their life 1% daily.

He does this through writing. He currently post on Facebook, Medium, his own website, Quora, TechCrunch, and many others, so why not steemit?

2. James Altucher Worked As A Hedge Fund Manager And Knows All Of Wall Street Is A Scam, therefore he is always looking for alternatives if he is interested in investing in steem.

3. James Sold His Book, Choose Yourself, Exclusively Via Bitcoin when it was first released in 2013, therefore he is interested in cryptocurrency.

4. James Knows Community and Social Media

His “Choose Yourself” group on Facebook has over 6,900 members.

He has an Insider's List which emails his countless subscribers.

And he has several other avenues to reach new people to attract to #steemit.

5. James is Top Tier Talent

@andrarchy wrote a great post on How To Bring 3 MILLION NEW USERS To STEEMIT that advocates getting Scott Adams to come to steemit.

I think James should because his talent is attractive and good for user growth, which on steemit would benefit him directly.

6. James Is Great At Interviewing

@cristi wrote a great inteverview article recently about popular steemit author @ericvancewalton in a Q&A with Steemit Prolific Author - Eric Vance Walton.

This reminded me on how much I enjoyed James in his interview skills on his podcast. James brings not only his own story and insight but would share with us interviews from all walks of life. He is able to contact all different types of people from Freakonomics co-author Stephen Dubner, billionaire Mark Cuban, The Biggest Drug Dealer In History “Freeway Rick Ross”, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss and so many more…

All this can enhance James and steemit together.

7. James Is a Writing Machine

Steemit needs writers.

James is prolific and always interesting.

James could release his books on steemit and attract new readers for himself as well as share his helpful stories and non-advice.

8. James Is an Idea Machine

James has ideas.

Steemit needs ideas.

Enough said.

9. James Is a Nomad

James doesn’t live anywhere.

Instead he moves from Airbnb to Airbnb or other room sharing services.

James should allow his inner (and outer) nomad to lead him to the steemit platform.

He post everywhere else (see number 1 above) and so he should move here for a while… at least to check it out.

10. James Altucher Changes Lives

I think he should recommend it to other simply because of the revenue stream idea he always writes about. Steemit has become a revenue stream for me.

Oh, and thanks for the link, I need to do that with my posts. How did you do the links at the end of your post?

Right!

That's slightly compelling reason #11:
--> revenue stream potential as @mctiller explains here in The POWER of Powering Down--You can Power Down, earn more Steem Power, and still be very Bullish on Steem

Nice article. Yes James has been quite the connector of some awesome people.

He is a super-connector!

That's a great idea! Having James Altucher sign up here would be a real coup - especially since, as you pointed out, he's a writing addict. :)

Thanks me too!

Brilliant! James would do amazingly well on this platform. I can attribute much of my success here to what I learned from him.

Absolutely!

He is very influential indeed!

maybe he's here?!

Maybe.

I don’t know.

@cristi Top ten ideas what his super secret Steemit id could be...go! :)

Great article, thanks for sharing!

Thanks.

The real deal is to see if it works...

Yes, James helped me totally reorganize my thinking, which is the most important step!

Yes, he has got my mind firing in a whole new way!

If there's anyone in the western hemisphere that has singularly changed the way I write and brew ideas.... Then Altucher is certainly the rightful person....
For a period in my life... I obsessively followed followed his ideas, articles and writing style..
In a way, I discovered Steemit through him.. He partly inspired my first book .. Though imperfect, I admire him so much...

I dont think he would join steemit though... At least for now..

Glad to see another #chooseyourself-er

Thanks and we shall see...

It would be interesting.

I dont think he'll be here for two reasons

  1. He doesnt need the money.
  2. He gets a lot of interaction on Facebook, and there isnt as much traffic here.

Yeah, it wasn't likely and that’s why I added "slightly" to the title because admittedly there isn't much in it for him other than diversification of audience and potential income stream as you mentioned.
