Speaking of trying to bring new people to steemit, many have tried different methods. Some feel they should be incentivized to do this, forgetting that each of us has been giving the steem blockchain & steem, thus making each of us "steem owners".
Another fact that is easy to forget is; "by means of our continuous blogging, we may have brought many new people on to steemit, unknown to us".
Yes, even as we write our regular steemit blogs and sometimes shape it to fit the steemit audience, we have a large other audience that we tend to, in the form of regular internet users who use the search engines and find our posts organically!
Infact, a huge reason steemit posts that trend, trend and have huge payouts underneath them is: they may have been seen to have the potential to appeal to an unknown audience who may visit steemit.com as spectators.
Bottomline is, bringing your very own steemit audience/community/investors etc is a fun thing in itself and one that can take your own steem to the moon.
Okay, look it like this: while we work hard to gain whale attention etc; what if you managed to bring in your own whale? I mean, what if your brother or close friend, had huge investment money and you got him to join steemit and he became instant whale; then there is huge likelihood, that you will be whale as well! (Direct whale support!)
Now, let's go another route;
What if you brought in an entire organization; a whole community or a social influencer with 25 million followers on to steemit? Depending on how much of a "truly great leader" you are, it can easily be said, that you potentially have a huge community of steemians who are likely to support your cause!
Now if you have brought in 10 or 15 steemians, one by one; do you see them like brothers and tutor them to steemit success? Well, this one is hard-work but where can it lead to?
Again, depending on how much of a good leader you are; 10 or 15 humans; is a huge number! Instill in them, the need to "incessantly mine with their mind"; build dreams and create visions; and imagine how tomorrow will look like!
Work together and have each of them reach 10k steem power and we will be talking of a total of 150k steempower at your disposal.
But there is a lot more that can happen beyond SBDs. Assuming you all, combine in brainstorming and come up with one solid steemit venture called "@steemgigs", and you need to raise 2,000 SBDs through a crowdfund; hahaha, you already have a crowd!
One question at this point is: You have brought 50 people on steemit; are they active? How much of a good leader have you been? How much positive influence do you have upon them?
It is not very easy to lead 50 steemians to steemit success!
My Point
One thing though, that will help steemit success become organic for the newbies we invite is: "Audience-type".
An email marketer for instance, will like to build an email list from the scratch through a leads page, so as to increase the likelihood that his email list is targeted!
This became very obvious overtime as i kept on with helping many newbies in the chats.
Also, among the newbies, i brought in, some where struggling to create posts, not exactly because they are lazy but mostly because, they didn't fill they fit in!
So i decided to pause a bit to come up with a full blown strategy. I drew experience first, from helping existing new ones because i feel that our strengthening our existing community is so important, when it comes to steemit growth. That was when #steemitisbeautiful and #steemgigs started, which has been a special journey and taught me alot and now, i am resuming the process of bringing new people to steemit but this time, i am applying strategy.
In my case, i will now like to target communities/community leaders/developers & coders/organizations/youths in colleges/teachers/social influencers/freelancers/potential investors/dreamers/visionaires etc
I know steem technology involves way way more than blogging! Overall, everyone can blog!
I will also figure out ways to accomplish this in prominent ways by means of #steemgigs. We have a SteemGigs Community, with more than two hundred experts already. I will work with @merej99 @officialfuzzy @virtualgrowth @papa-pepper @sykochica @stellabelle @thatsweeneyguy @inphiknit @steemitqa @kus-knee and many others to bring our steemgigs community into full blown action, in bringing about real world awareness to steemit.
This is possible and already ongoing. Look at these two posts:
- https://steemit.com/steemgig/@inphiknit/charity-steemgig-update-and-x3-cheers-for-thatsweeneyguy-and-drpuffnstuff
For a long time, i have buried my head into strategies to seamlessly bring in more steemians to steemit and this time, i want to target just the right audience.
We would like to look into bringing in an audience, that have the culture of "mining with minds" already, so that once they perch on the steem blockchain; "glory days begin!" We want an audience who have spent years in thirst for the ultimate platform and we want to cure their thirst by giving them the steem blockchain. We want an audience who have nurtured dreams and visions and have been waiting for "steem blockchain".
Since the birth of #steemgigs, there has been a new community of users forming; that is testimony, that there is a class of people as the one just described above!
SteemGiggers for instance, are always in brainstorming mode by nature and even at times when they experience "writer's block", they are out on the blockchain, actively looking for #steemgigs to do or new things to create!
They have an ever-burning longing to practice their expertise and perfect it!
A #steemgigs graphic designer for instance, is right now, very likely thinking of the next design to create.
Look at the last #steemgigs from @deveerei and see how much effort he put into creating his latest graphic designs!
Look at coding for example: we have a SteemGigs Dev-request centre, with more than 10 Steem developers and i tell you, on there, steemians spend sleepless nights doing incessant learning and brainstorming!
Why I'm Targeting The Perfect Audience?
This is because i will want to cater to everyone, who joins steemit under my umbrella. In the past, i have managed to bring several people on steemit but i have not been very successful in keep many of them active.
Over the past months, my experience with non-stop chats with new steemians under the #steemitisbeautiful initiative and with #steemgigs, it became obvious that the "right audience" makes mentoring speedier.
I spend almost 10 hours, on some days in chat and most of the knowledge i have had to impart to newbies overtime, has to do with turning them into the right audience, so that they fit in on steemit. Yes, some of these steemians, even the more veteran steemians, tire out because they still feel that they just don't fit in!
Basically, it is not only about bring people to join steemit; a pertinent aspect of this path is: are they steeming on?
Strategy
A major difference between a successful steemian and one who struggles too much, is "Strategy".
In multiples chats with @officialfuzzy recently, this aspect was resounded! Yes, it is possible to bring in an entire community (perfect audience) onto steemit, without leaving your PC screen and i want to accomplish this, in the next few months.
I also have chatted with @merej99 @sircork and another social media influencer who has 25 million followers on social media, who i now have direct access to due to #steemgigs and all of them have resounded one thing; "strategy".
My Short Term Plans
1. I will start with bringing 3 powerful women on steemit. I wouldn't say they are the perfect audience yet but they are powerful women and they are my sisters! This is just the perfect inspiration and a driving force to in my quest to accomplish the remaining 5 goals below!
Basically, i will be going to Dubai in a few days, to meet with them after 5 years and i will bring them on steemit during our vacation!
2. I am already on the journey to bring Coins.ph on steemit; a huge task! Well, the journey has begun. I have contacted them, with @officialfuzzy as my driving force and they are willing to reading some form of proposal. I want to create an obvious advantage for www.coins.ph to join steem, one they will not be able to circumvent, before i do a proposal post to submit to them! So recently, i have been writing a coins.ph-steem series (creating a relationship between steem & coins.ph)
I do feel that an integration between coins.ph and steem, is a huge step in bringing Steemit/Steem to the mainstream in the Philippines. This post explains why!
3. Working on bring @brindocorp fully onto Steemit. This is a group of teenagers from Africa, who i mentor, who have gone on to create an organization, that does several events all year long to mentor and direct youths in Africa, in the software-developer career path.
They have a classic event centre at their disposal, with their next event coming up in August; perfect timing for them to join steemit!
@brindocorp already signed up for an account and working to fully join steemit!
Time frame: A week from now!
4. Bringing in another group of boys, who i mentor, led by a 19 year old of Italian origin. He has a team of 3 programmers, 2 digital artists and an animator, who are building a unique app that is a cross between modern MMORPG gaming and classic literature!
Time frame: A week from now!
5. Talks have began to bring in a medium sized basketball organization from the Philippines onto steemit. They organize baskeball leagues & events non-stop, all year long throughout Manila and they write classic updates about events, results, stats; to keep their basketball fan-base and players informed and steemit is just the perfect hub for that.
This organization is called "KOTC (Kings Of The Court)" and if i am able to bring them in, i am very sure that it will be easy to bring in, their competitor; "BPO Classics". I have played in both leagues and i have grown pretty popular with them.
A final presentation is what's left!
Time Frame: In Process!
6. I have contacted a core member of a college in Bonifacio Global City area in Manila, for a meeting in the coming weeks, to set up a presentation that will allow me talk "steemit". The name of the School is Enderun University and my contacts there are in the Basketball Team of Enderun.

The leftmost man; dark-skinned is their coach and very accessible!
Time frame: In process
Where Did Strategy Apply In The Goals Above?
Well, one thing to note is: all the above has been ongoing for months now and hasn't required that i leave my house. Just a PC and internet and a movement began. Also note, that i am not physically located in some of these places.
Yes, it is possible to bring in a huge populace of steemians, without a physical meet-up because, there are a ton of tools available!
For instance, a ton of gamers can already be member of the SteemGigs discord server, long before they end up as steemians.
Which Of The 6 Goals Above, Is The Toughest To Accomplish?
Well, bringing in www.coins.ph will be my greatest accomplishment, in terms of steemit growth, among my immediate 6 goals above!
However, among other things, there has been help! @officialfuzzy; though he has a really busy schedule, most of the underlying cause of his busy-ness (business) is steem and bitshares. These are blockchains that have every reason to become the new face of digital currency. The major reasons for this being; no fees/little or no mining/3 seconds transaction block-time/usernames instead of bogus wallet addresses. Thus, coins.ph and steem is perfect match!
Just bring @blocktrades into the picture!
Looking at it, coins.ph is also on a blockchain, so perhaps, direct integration without need for bitcoin is accomplishable!
@officialfuzzy knows this for a fact and he gives me mentoring and helps me up my strategy game!
Big projects need pacing, so first, I want to complete my coins.ph-steem series and combine all the URLs into a final proposal steemit post, which i will submit to coins.ph's "head of business", to help them easily how "coins.ph-steem" is genius.
For the price of steem, it is a winner because bring coins.ph on steemit, will bring steem to the mainstream in the Philippines and before the right audience!
This is because coins.ph is likely the easiest-to-use remittance app that has bitcoin integration in the world, in terms of functionality, options and knowledge-curve.
Also coins.ph has awesome marketing model. Which i will cover under my series!
Is It Impossible To Accomplish The 6 Goals Above In A Few Months?
NO!!!
Long road, so i will need your inspiration as this journey continues.......

It's impressive how many efforts and love for detail you put always into your doings on steemit. I can only applaude you.
Well there are thousands of new people joining this platform every single day. I'm not sure if we are even able to have any influence on the 'who'. What we can definitely do is keep rewarding the content and people we like and appreciate. That may imply that we have a certain influence on 'who will be persisting'. However, the platform will be growing faster than we can imagine.
Probably it's the very best strategy to keep producing what we personally consider valuable, to stand up for what we love and to spread positivity all over the network.
Ah and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing these strong women coming over :-)
Steem on, Terry! You're THE man.

You are doing an amazing service for Steemit, and your friends!
I will be moving beyond my social circle soon to get the word out on other networks. Just getting Steemit on everyone’s radar is important enough. It will probably take repeated exposure of the brand and concept before the average person signs up.

Yes, it does take repeated exposure. it took me a measure of awareness before i eventually joined steemit though @stellabelle's post. Some people even get apprehensive about huge amounts underneath steemit posts unlike you would expect. in my case for instance, in more than a decade of trying different means to earn my first dime online, i never earned. even tsu.co where i was before steemit crumbled before it could. i ended up joining steemit because i was looking for a home. One upon which dreams are buildable!

It almost seems like we (the Philippines) are ahead of most countries when it comes to cryptocurrency adoption. Pretty odd, since we are usually behind in everything else. Lol.
I use Coins.ph myself. So simple, and I don't even need to pay a bank fee. Not the case with PayPal. That costs me 150 pesos bank fee per deposit (roughly $3).
I can transfer Steem or SBD through BlockTrades.us (for example), which does the Steem to Bitcoin conversion, straight to my Coins.ph wallet before noon, and have it deposited to my bank in pesos before 6 p.m. the same day. No hiccups. It works every time.
And the customer service of Coins.ph is outstanding.
If you could get them to come over, @surpassinggoogle, that would be a great accomplishment. It would also mean Coins.ph will bring people from Thailand eventually. They have a presence in that country too.
Some awesome things you're doing. :)
Resteeming this to 11,000+ followers.

Almost all the the new people that I have referred in the last few weeks do not have accounts because they have never received conformation. SO when I refer someone and they sign up and they dont get an account in a week or so they lose interest.

How sad. What nation are they from? it just cost 10 steem to get them on asap. work on a post to solely to raise the amount for the number of steemians you are bring on. Steemians will help.

Great post! I share every new blog on FB, LinkedIn and Twitter.. I also own Steemerator.com which I am looking for a developer to help me turn it into the MeetUp of Steemit ... Users can simply organize common-interest Steemit gatherings for various purposes like blockchain education, investing clubs, social, sporting (as you mentioned) and entertainment events... Church events, pretty much any type of event and can even pay (for paid Steemerators) using Steem and access the app using their Steemit username.. For me, Steemit is that ultimate platform that I literally waited years for and I think that Steemerator is an easy, fun and quickly scalable app for people already on Steemit to take your point about targetted audience growth into their own hands and create the perfect interest-driven incentive for new comers that want to attend Steemerators to sign up and start engaging with the steem blockchain or as you put it, "start mining with their minds."
