Progress Report

I am more than happy with the progress I made since my last update 5 days ago. More than my progress in absolute numbers, it's some of the recognitions I got that has got me elated.

Big news #1 - I got an upvote from none other than @ned

This is so unreal! I got the upvote on a comment and not on a post, but I am more than happy with that. Here's the post where I talk about this big event in my plankton-life 🐛😃

Big news #2 - The great @underground and his fellow officers @eaglespirit, @anjkara and @eonwarped at @minnowbootcamp found me worthy enough to feature me as the first Minnow of the Week (MOTW). Here is the post where they feature my almost insignificant achievements and a couple of my posts.

To tell the truth, to me personally this means much more than Ned's vote and I have listed it as #2 just because of the chronological order of these events. I met these awesome people and a few others only a few weeks ago and they really have become an important part of my daily life. Someday I will probably write about all of these wonderful folks whom I met at the Crypto Empire run by @spiritualmax.

Other news

I got my post featured by SteemEngine for the first time. I have recently joined this group and I especially like the way they handle their post promotion channel and prevent spamming of the channel. This is the only group I have found till now where the post promotion channel is of any real value.

What I have done since my last progress report

✦ Broken arm update: I started my Steemit journey with a broken arm, so it put a brake initially but now I am running full speed, at least to the limit possible given my full-time day job. I visited the doctor today and he said the fracture has healed 👍 but it will take several more months (up to a year) for my arm to return to it's full strength and manourverability💪. I will have to keep doing the exercises.
