Today i would like to share my views about UPVOTE POWER!
A brief information about this question that many users asked like:
What happens with my voting power when I remove my upvotes from post?
Well, Removing upvotes doesn't refund your voting power, It is funny how in one second you have 21 upvotes and 6.42$ reward on your post and then you refresh and see that you have 20 upvotes and 5.88$ reward. Then, the person who removed upvote from your post, upvoted you again, but this time with 11% on the slider and NOT with 100% as the first time.
So this is a bad news for those who remove their upvotes!
For those who are new users on steemit, when you get some 200-450 steem power, you will get a slider, a possibility to choose the impact of your upvote. If we want full recover of the battery in 24 hours, In that 24 hour voting power regenerates for 20% and each 100% upvote costs 2% of your voting power, so we can give 10 times 100% upvote in a day.
So, let's say that you gave your 100% upvote to someone by mistake, you wanted to give 20% upvote. You can remove your 100% upvote and re-upvote with 20%. But when you remove your 100% upvote, you will not get your 2% back in your voting power battery ! and now if you gave an upvote by mistake, I suggest you to let it be! Any next step will drain your battery more! And you loose 2% of your battery for sure and get nothing!
at the end make your decision to upvote others wisely.
