So, friends as i promised , i put my effort to eliminate your hurdle as a new blogger that you are facing i.e not generating enough money , which keep you influencing in writing blogs. You put all your effort to become hit on this platform. But, believe me steemit is not as simple as you know it initially .Only the person who deserve this, are going to be paid.
So, you think what i am going to be missed , before i become trending. The first part of this post exactly deal with the same i.e your UPVOTING POWER. ( link at the bottom of this post)

Here is the part II of previous post. This part deal all about " curation award " . Yes steemit paid you also if you cast your upvote to others. In simple school words , CURATION AWARD may be defined as – “ how much you get rewarded when you cast your upvote to others.”

But wait don’t left reading this post and start upvoting full day in think of lot of CURATION AWARD earning. Hold , read the whole blog completely and of course seriously. The definition of curation award is just a trailer of film “based on timing , content writing quality, number of people who upvoted before you on that post etc”. So lets start understanding the whole concept.

Never start to upvote whole day , Steemit already have plan to stop you from this trick reward system. There is something which stop you from doing so, Your upvoting power, which decreases your curation reward . Your upvoting power decreases with 2% for every ongoing upvote. ( For more detail and where to check your upvoting power refer to my last post (link at the bottom of this post).

Now the second and important part to be followed :

Why steemit comes with curation award process ?

Steemit apply this because they want to prefer "good" content over worthless content. Steem users are expected to upvote "good" content.

Steemit test you how much you think analytically and sharply. The CURATION REWARD goes to you if you're an early upvoter of a post that later turns out to be very popular (i. e. it receives a high reward) you will receive part of the post's payout. Isn’t a good thing provided by steemit , "you are only paid for your potential to find out those blog which are going to be trending."

As i discuss earlier your CURATION AWARD depends upon many factor such as time of voting , your voting power ,how many of person voted before you , and number of upvotes that took place after your upvotes. Always keep in mind that “ CURATION AWARD IS ALWAYS PAID IN STEEM POWER” . Keep a hawk eye on every new post that have potential to become trending.

Majority of curation reward are claimed by first five curators . But wait it doesn’t mean that you should become too FAST AND FURIOUS and quickly upvote all new blogs , to become eligible in the list of first five.

Here is the strategy you should follow , do not upvote immediately as 99.95 % of curation award will goes to the author. If you upvote after 15 min. ,only 50% of reward will go to the author.and the best part . you should vote nearly about 30 min of posting of blog , then only 100% of curation award will goes to the curators.

“So my friends find a potential post , upvote before 30 min of post of blog and keep yourself under the list of first five upvote.” Yes i know , your mind tickle that how much circumstances i have to follow for reward ? Dear friends nothing will comes without a price tag and hard work.
