I just ran across a very good Steemit blog about Steem the currency and US tax code. Somebody put some time in and it is readable, but the reward was only $0.18. After upvoting, I decided to see what the Steemit 'Share' widget does. Only a few social platforms, but NOT back into your own blog (i.e., timeline for FBers).
Why shouldn't Steemit have a local 'share' so that an under-recognized post that goes onto your own blog only rewards the original content creator? I would NOT be reposting makeup tutorials, that's for sure.
Is there an official SIP process (Steemit Improvement Protocol)?
That's a great idea. It would be nice to help promote a post you enjoyed without infringing on the rights of the author.
