Media Dinosaurs are falling down!

WE are the most important part of social media. Without us, they are worthless. The only reason they have a value is because they can sell advertisements that you have to watch. Just so we an use their platform. This is unacceptable. I have noticed this so often lately. The only value a lot of these companies have, is us. So it begged me to think, why are we not being rewarded for our content, our followers ect. Why am I not getting paid for having to watch these friggen' advertisements on Facebook or Instagram? Youtube has now started demonetizing users for their personal beliefs, literally stomping on the ground youtube was built on!
This is fantastic, we see that a lot of these large profiles have been losing large percentages of their user base only the monthly average. People are leaving, the drab sponsored pages, political garbage, religious crap and everyone looking for a little bit of sympathy for their life to do better. It was sickening, I deleted Facebook for almost a year before I found Steemit! Calling me to turn back on all of my social media and start sharing Steemit with people. I have gotten around 20 new people this lat month to sign up and join Steemit.com WE will keep going. The large media companies will die unless they realize, like we are realizing.
WE ARE THE VALUE IN ALL OF SOCIAL MEDIA, NOT THE COMPANIES THAT HOST US
If we all leave, they will have nothing. This exodus is happening, now. Its easy to see why. Steemit is a very engaging platform, where the users are incentivized to create good content, content that will do well. its genius

Never liked "Fakebook" esp. now with their totalitarian censorship antilogarithms. Steemit is entirely different for reasons you said. Faces and names on Steemit are NOT foolish at all!

I agree....going to be a slow process converting FB users. The mentality I see is 'hit and run' sharing or posting. I think a lot of people would have a deer-in-the-headlights expression if they realized they had to put some thoughtfulness into posting. Newbie here and following. Thank you.

Thats not true, i have had great success, you just have to show people the value, right in their faces. They eventually get it. I get about 1 out of every two people I show. But i have also had 15 years of experience ind advertising marketing and sales! each for me to rebuttle them to buying in
