Having troubles adding a profile picture?
We know a lot of users havent had the blog and internet exprience we have had. AS we gained more followers we noticed many dont have their avatars added yet. WE are assuming its cause they are used to the upload features of Facebook and Instagram ect. Its easy though, all you need to do is copy the URL from your other social sources than copy it into the URL space in Steemit! Simple as that. No more confusion and you will stand out to your crowd. Your brand is important! Share it and you with us!
Arcane Conclusion
Many times we have stumbled in learning how to figure things out, Between google and youtube we have always been able to find an answer. Now we are excited to be the ones answering some of the questions! So make sure, if you havent branded your account with your profile picture to do so as soon as possible and make you brand stand out so the rest of us can recognize you!

This issue can be funny but when I first logged into steemit it took few good minutes to figure it out and I believe I wasn't the slowest one. Helpful for newbies :)

Wish we could just upload a
profile pic and videos right on to Steem.
Pictures I can upload right to the page, but not to my profile picture,I was going to post a picture for my profile and do a video and found out In had to either put in on Fakebook, which I deactivated, Steem all the way!
And then some others like you tube. Just wish there was a way to upload a video right onto my steem page instead of a third party.

It requires a lot of server space, we are still in beta, and youtube will do it free for us! You can use your Utube,gravatar,stumbleupon,twitter! WE suggest always sharing your content on all of tehses anyways!

well shoot I tried two pictures and all I see is white :( it's like the picture has been moved to the far left or right or totally erased :( so why can't one upload from a pc ? or can they? thanks for sharing your post hope I'm the only one who messed up :D
