Behold the beholder!
In additions to the new introduction level, I have been working on the voxel meshes for the new monsters. The beholders are fairly large in size and will fire a volley of projectiles from its 6 different pouches. These enemies are meant to be almost like mini bosses.
The above is the Zombie Soldier and the nightmare imp. The Zombie Soldier is armed with an assault rifle while the nightmare imp is a melee only cloaked demon variation.
I have also been going through and making a lot of changes and fixes to the game.
- The escape button will now exit the inventory screen.
- A Low health warning will appear on screen when you are low on health.
- A warning will appear on screen if your armor reaches zero.
- Reworded the description for hold to use booster effects to make it clearer how they work.
- Melee attacks now spawn a visible swipe effect!
