Hello dear steemit friends,
Today I found some steemit Accounts that are just created in july or mid of june and they already gained over 1500-3500 followers,
Because when someone join steemit he/she thinks that all they need is Followers only for start earning quick bucks and being popular on this platform and because of this they started to gain Followers by wrong ways.
The most common way of earning Followers that i noticed in these Accounts is that all these persons follows more then 15000 users on steemit and if only 10% of them follows them back then they got a whopping 1500 Followers in no time.
And these users also very active in commenting on other users posts they use big pictures and emojis in there comments so that they can attract new users to folow them,
But after all these Followers they gain the earning of there posts are almost nothing and they just manipulating other users by getting self upvote by randowhale and booster and other upvoting bots availabile on steemit.
I don't want to mention any name and screenshot of these Accounts but all i wanted to say that,these methods of promoting and earning Followers not help these users in long run because your true followers only be with you till the end not these self earn Followers.

@thecrytotrader, I think most of us do not understand what steemit is all about and rather focus on the monetary aspect than the information and promotions of steem. Most steemites dont read posts anymore because they have grouped themselves for an upvote for upvote and follow for follow on facebook, telegram and other social network. That is why posts will practically no info will be getting an upvote because it is an obligation to upvote anything to get an upvote back. Meanwhile a good and quality post will be having less views and few or no upvote. Priority has been misplaced.
I joined such group as a newbie thinking it was an orientation group and a means to chat with others and gain followers until I startef making post and having less than 10 views and lesser, I discovered it was a misplaced priority

Lots of followers without real value being offered in ones post would still yield low earnings. offer value and your followers would increase. I noticed some one with more than 2000 followers but his/her posts were earning on average about $25 i wondered why at first but now i know.

Nice post. Only question is, is the conversion rate really 10%?
Reason I doubt it would be, is because you don't get any notifications saying that a person has followed you.. Meaning how would those 1 in 10 people now that you followed them? :)

Use esteem app and turn on alert for following and then you can know who follows and unfollow you with his/her name.

Yeah, but not everyone uses eSteem :) So if I follow someone who is using the website, they don't get a notification.. So how will they know you followed them, so they can follow you back?
