Yes. Check out the wallet. 9 Days posting, all of which pretty much were posts saying "give me your money I'll make it huge", and continuous transfers to little whalebots. Plus just about every comment comes from a bot. This is so scammy it might as well run around with flashing lights on it's head saying "scammy scammy scam scam". If there is anyone so daft as to think this is a good bet they're probably selling their bitcoin for dollars because it's a "safer bet".

nothing is removed from steemit, you can flag stuff and it gets "hidden" but other than that everything you post tot he blockchain remains. The only way for things to be removed would be for the top 19 witnesses to form a consensus (2/3rds) and remove the spam, which would be awesome if there would be a quarterly or so spam removal where all spam is identified and categorized and marked for DELETION, saving bandwith and disk space with all the removed spam tucked in some archive.
