Farcical Upvotes - Does one have to be grateful?

Call me an ungrateful ingrate but I really am amazed and confused by some of the votes I receive on my posts.

Since the Hard Fork a few months ago the voting rules were changed, and I must confess that to my mind it was for the worse.
That is not only because we have this weird new habit amongst some Steemians to 100% upvote their one liner mundane comments, but because the 10 per day type scenario now has individuals voting with miniscule percentages of their vote.

So I went onto Steemd and had a look at recent activities on my blog and had me a very small chuckle at some of the votes I have been receiving... but mostly I thought .....

0.01% and 0.06% of a vote? Do these individuals vote 1000 times a day? Is there really any value in these votes?

I ask that question honestly. Does it add to your vests, increase your reputation? Or is it just a waste of time?

How do you structure your votes? I look forward to hearing your thoughts....

LOL, thanks. I checked a couple of them out for SP.. and they have four digit SP, like 1300 SP so is not as if they are whales.

Nope, there's no damn value to such votes, unlessss... steem is USD 3000,-- and steem power is 5 000 000.

I would be touring Eastern Europe ... a gentleman of leisure if Steem was $3000 ... I can dream. Thanks for reading. I know I still owe you an answer to a question asked the other day ...

I run my own community project now.
I do have my own routine, also do read many stuffs and checking many patterns where all the voting have gone.

Firstly, did you get your SBD abd Steem returned??? I vote 40% for posts and 15% for comments.

As regards my Steem and SBD...not yet. Not even an acknowledgement of my problem. For votes I use Steemvoter set to 10%...and those I vote on manually...100%

I have set my votes to 6%, and still struggle to maintain a decent voting power, as I try to vote for all comments on my posts and also vote for all my feeds.

I generally do not upvote comments. I try and vote 100% for content which I like...or for people who constantly support me.
