Steem's actual price should be around 1.6$ if there wasn't so much spam and plagiarism. I believe we will get there soon. Funny, it seems steem price started growing after whales started acting responsibly and flagging low quality posts.

I just looked at their recent posts. I didn't realize they added more memes to each post. They were posting one per. After I get some more VP back and get the other accounts under control I'll revisit it.

With the random high dollar up-votes it will have to be downvoted heavy on the first pass with @mack-bot to discourage them. Unfortunately that is the account with the least amount of SP since it was conceived as a marker bot. It was meant to be a bot projects & other bots could follow and avoid up-voting spammers. It also let me know who is actively posting to followup with @spaminator to remove payouts in the last 12 hours.

Seems I'm constantly making changes to streamline fighting this stuff.

Oh my goodness, the first time I discovered that account, I thought "oh cool, they mention me in posts, I'll get more views." Boy was I wrong. I mean it's fine that they monitor these things, but it should be kept in some sort of archive. I followed, only to have my feed explode with posts from them and could barely find any other post. So I unfollowed naturally, and their mention of my posts does not bring me more traffic. They are an archive of statistics, that's all. I bet their steemitboard is exploding on their 4 times a day rewards and the amount of posts and comments they write rewards. While we try to write good meaningful content, and I barely make $0.10 with most of them. I know I still need to grow, but I'm working on that, organically, without spamming, if you please lol Monitorcap might be doing something good, by having all this info, but it's not doing good to the platform by posting it all the time. It should go elsewhere. They are spamming, like big time, like 'yo momma's so fat she makes Monitorcap look slim"... Sorry, don't ask where that came from. You get my meaning anyway. And I get yours ;)

I've had contact with @patrice in Steemitchat/help, and based on that I followed her.

There is still one issue open.
Traffic.
Currently one posting of that bot is about 20kb big.
That is a huge amount of bandwidth.
Current growth of STEEM blockchain per day is about 250MB.
I am not sure, if this is scalable, if more users would be active here..
And this one takes with one posting already double the amount of the mean usage for an active user..
(250MB/25000 active User = 10kb)
Has this already been adressed by anyone here?

Unfortunately, we can mute him but we can't suppress the bloat created. You would think the lack of rewards would discourage it, but this is something on Steemit Inc can resolve.

I didn't mention as @cryptomonitor as I didn't have 100% evidence it was him but I am 99.9999999999% sure.

If only we could stop the bloat being created in the first place, that would be a major accomplishment. We can only mute them, we can't stop the endless churn of boat put on the blockchain.
