Trying Out Steemit

(or whatever we call ourselves here :)

Just a little intro about me...

My name is Ron, and I come from the beautiful island of the Philippines. I'm an introvert (as you can see from my pic, I'm too shy to face you yet). I'm a home-based freelancer for the longest time - a virtual assistant, social media manager, customer chat support, depending on what current projects I'm doing.

I've been curious lately about Steemit, and this is the first time I'm trying it out, and see if I can hone my writing skills and earn some income along the way. I know about cryptocurrency and I have invested in come cryptos since 2017. I've done some tradings and long/short term investments, but never delved into Steemit currency and its great unique platform.

What can I contribute here? Well, I don't have a concrete plan yet, but I can write mostly about the food and places I go to, or for those of you that are planning to visit the Philippines. I can write and show you some of the places tourists go to here. I live in the capital city of Manila so my resources are limited to just life in the metro.
