I wanted to post my article and I populated the tag field with 5 tags but there is an error message stating that I have used 7 tags.
Can some one explain to me what will be happening?

Just retry. Maybe press delete a bunch of times then retype it. I assume you can get it working because you posted this blog.

Have you any additional hashtags within the article that's different from the tag field? Those are counted too! Even an additional space in tag field is counted - check these!

Yes, they are. Anything with a # in front of it will get counted as a tag. As a result, you generally want to avoid doing that unless you want to use that tag as one of your 5.

It was probably you had double spaces between tags
That caught me out a few times till I worked out thats what was causing it
