@tipU Is Going To Sleep - Some Technical Problems (steembase.exceptions.RPCError) Edit: Back Online

Hi guys, @tipU will be offline for few hours now because of technical problems when trying to do automatic transfers (sending tips).

I'm using https://api.steemit.com node and when I'm trying do do transfer I receive error:

steembase.exceptions.RPCError: Bad Cast:Invalid cast from string_type to Array

Haven't changed anything so either the node has some problems or I need to update the steem-python libs. Gonna need some time to sort it out. Sorry!

Edit: the last steem-python libs update was 24 days ago so no update for me atm ;)

Edit #2: OK, seems to be working now, in case someone's looking for alternative nodes:

Hey @tipu:

I have the exact same error show up. I have tried switching nodes (it has a build in method to switch nodes automatically but all of the nodes I it switched to still threw the error) and so I tried manually and each node presents the same issues

steembase.exceptions.RPCError: Bad Cast:Invalid cast from string_type to Array

Which was thrown from line 213 in steembase/http_client.py

(was working fine 8 days ago but isn't working now)
I am wondering if all yo did was change nodes or if there was more to it then that?

Edit: I am no longer getting errors when sing custom json...

I have most of those nodes in the cycle (along with another 15 ish),

It worked with the custom json method (for me) and ended up settling down on gtg.steem.house:8090

I've had the same error yesterday, only for couple of hours.

But now, when I try to make operation such as send transfer or claim rewards I receive:
steembase.exceptions.RPCError: 4030100 transaction_expiration_exception: transaction expiration exception
These operations had worked well before.

What node do you use at the moment? I have the impression that I have checked all with no results ;-)
