Hello Steemit!

I am writing my first post to test Steemit and introduce the topics my blog will talk about. This new platform inspired me to act on several hobbies I have, and put the content I am creating for personal curation in a public space. I am a Midwesterner with an engineering mindset, who has interests in 3D printing, Cryptocurrencies, space exploration and technology. I am creating my Steemit blog to serve several specific purposes for each of these topics:

3D Printing

About a year and a half ago I purchased a 3D Printer with @cassipolzin. The tool is mesmerizing to watch while it creates inspiring pieces. I have been gathering a lot of media from projects I have completed, but I really haven't done too much with the content. Steemit will serve as the publishing platform for my 3D inspired pictures and videos. I want to capture the creation of objects and present them in an engaging way, compressing hours of path finding into compelling clips.

Cryptocurrencies

Cryptocurrency is something I wish I would have gotten into a long time ago, as many people probably would say. I began trading currencies in 2017, and would like to become more disciplined in terms of researching altcoin projects. I believe Cryptocurrencies will expedite retirement for many people, and I'm doing everything I can to make sure I'm one of them. Many posts on this blog will be dedicated to the research and analysis of Bitcoin markets, altcoins, and regulations on currencies by governments. Posts will be made with the assumption that the reader has some knowledge of what cryptocurrencies are, and will focus on the long term outlook for the project. The first post will be on FunFair ($FUN).

Perspective

Casual writing and exploring opinions fuels good blogging. Outside of the first two structured topics, I want my blog to be a space where I can share my perspective on many exciting topics in the news, while reserving the opportunity to touch on more important topics from time to time. Communication is important for both individuals and communities.
