Hello to all of my followers. As you might have noticed, ALL of my POSTS and COMMENTS over the last week were attacked, merely because a whale didn't like a single comment I've made.
My reputation was lowered to a point where I cannot post new pictures, at the moment.
As such, instead of creating new content, it's more likely I'll be re-posting them, 2 each day...
To avoid crossing paths with the attacker, I've muted him... and I've muted all of the accounts he's following. (Sorry, @eveuncovered - because of this, you went from one of the persons I was following to one of the persons I've muted. It's nothing personal, but I don't want to risk saying something that user doesn't like on one of your posts... and be attacked again.)
I won't give up on the Steem Blockchain because of this... in fact, I've even rented almost 500 Steem for 90 days, in exchange for some Bitcoin, so I can start spreading some love myself.

You were spamming, the robot flag most of those post, not a whale, its a robot, after 1 or 2 post you didnt get the message so your rep got lower and lower. Learn your lesson yet?

You don't seem to understand what happened. I have criticized the work of a whale. He didn't like it and so, he decided to "teach me a lesson" by using a bot to flag ALL of my posts and ALL of my comments for the entire week.
He didn't even tried to deny what I said about him. He went immediately for the kill.
This shows that SteemIt will never be a platform for people to discuss serious topics.
As it stands, SteemIt can only be used to post innocent and politically neutral content....
We can talk about art, wine, movies, photography... and not much else.
If you try to make it more political, you'll find a much bigger wall of repression than in Facebook. And that is just sad.

I've gotten involved in some controversial debates and have never been flagged for disagreeing with someone. Were you civil when you made the comment, or were you aggressive? That makes all the difference.

Sorry you are dealing with this. If you hadn't just leased the SP I would have suggested just starting a new account so this would be over. That really would have been the simplest thing to do.
Now to repost old content might catch the eye of some other people who don't like spam on the blockchain and they may feel that is, not sure.
I'd suggest just posting like you have been. I see no reason that you need to mute everyone...actually I would make sure to unmute Mr B in case he mentions you or comments on one of your posts. You need to know what is being said. Your current approach is just sticking your head in the sand hoping the problem goes away IMO.
BTW, I'm here because viking-ventures wanted to let me know that they stood by you for their entry into my contest. So felt I should see what was going on.

I don't think I need to do something as drastic as that. I'd lose my followers...
Also, my reposts will serve as a double purpose. I'll make them visible again... And that will help me recover my reputation, cause until then, I'm not able to post new pictures because my rep is too low. I hope reposting them will be enough for me to recover and restart posting original content.
Btw, 95% of the accounts I've muted don't seem to have any interesting content for me... So it's not a big deal.
I'm also deleting the content of my earlier posts, as I repost them. That way they won't be duplicated.
I believe that is the best way to proceed.

One thing that I hate to suggest, but it's the fastest way to get your score up is to pay for some bot votes. If you can at least get up to the point you can post photos again you will benefit greatly and that might be worth spending a few dollars on. Something to consider.

It's a bot... Call him out and he'll upvote your comment and answer you back. After Steem fell from a cliff, @cleverbot's votes are useless, as they don't translate to any reward anymore.
There's another bot like this, @banjo. But I think he's on pause now. He hasn't been answering anyone lately. I don't know why...

I think that's how it works. You need to follow these bots and then call them (either in a post or a comment.) And I've just found a few more: @catfacts, @clever & @witzbot! (Calling them for the first time.)
These bots won't make anyone rich... but I think they're pretty useful to give more visibility to posts from newbies like me. People seem more inclined to upvote a fresh post with 3 or 4 votes than being the first ones to vote on something. I don't know why... but I have realised this trend, shortly after I've started using them.
Hopefully, I can stop using them when I get more followers... but for now, they are really useful to me.
