Steemit would need to reimagine their user experience which would start with a new and improved user friendly website and even a smartphone app

    There is a smartphone app. It's called eSteem. I'm using it as I type. Steem is all still in Beta. Facebook was also at this stage one day. Give it some time. Here's a list of 123 Steem related apps:
