I haven't heard anyone mention this topic which I feel should be discussed. If the hard fork comes into play, will the altcoins be exchanged into Bitcoin or the new Bitcoin?? Makes me feel like the new Bitcoin will just be another alt coin if the current altcoins don't convert to being traded for the new Bitcoin. Let me know what you all think.

Well, depends on the personal interest of the ones holding your coins, just make sure you have them for yourself and thus free to decide their fate.
