I decided to try and learn some styling tips to make my posts look a bit nicer and thought I would share what I find, so I hope this is helpful.

TIP 1

HOW TO BOLD TEXT

** TEXT ** Add a double Asterix before and after the text you wish to be in bold, like my example but without the gaps :)

HOW TO CREATE ITALICS

*TEXT * A single Asterix before and after the text, like my example but without the gap.

As below but without the gaps....some confusions in British and American spelling of centre to be found with this one!

Adjusting text size - add “#” and a space before text. The less the number of “#” you put before the text, the bigger the text would be as follows:

just add this > sign in front of your text without the spaces

HOW TO CREATE TWO COLUMNS

This one is a little more complex

for the left column the code is
< div class=pull-left>
then text or picture
then < /div> at the end without the space after the first <
You may have to remove some extra code from the images, you will see whatever text is still visible when the image shifts can be deleted.

for the right column the code is
< div class=pull-right>
then text or picture
then < /div> at the end without the space after the first <

TIP 9
EXTRA LINE SPACING

Use < br >< br > without the spaces

for Paragraph Break

I am still learning too, I can't find anywhere that helps us use colour on steemit so if anyone has the answer let me know!
I also can only work out how to stop the column by inserting another picture, so any tips let me know!
