A month ago

It felt like ages to me but actually what seemed as ages was simply one month.
I wanted to make a recap post for the newbies like me so they can have a look at what one month can do for you on the platform.

The idea

I came to steemit with the idea to make money by posting meaningless things. Once I got to know some people the idea to make money faded away in the dark and I just fell in love with the positive feedback that came my way, afterwards focusing on writing meaningful stuff.

Expectations

My income expectations were blown out the window as I thought I'd make a few dollars just for the sake of making them, only to see if the concept of the platform actually worked.. My expectations were beyond met and the small milestones I had placed were demolished with big boulders taking their place.

Id like to extend some gratitude towards the people that have made my journey worth the efforts and that have motivated me to go beyond myself here every day.

The first person to notice my work and give me a boost so I can see that it is worth putting some effort in the platform.

He upvoted my first articles and made me really happy, giving me the stimulation to continue writing. If it wasn't for him I'd probably not be here right now.

Of course it goes without saying that I want to say thank you to everyone that is currently following me.

SBD

So you might be asking where did the SBD go?
Well I'm happy to announce that currently I've saved all the SBD rewards and I am going to invest them in a professional camera, to blog and document my experiences like festivals and traveling, documentaries and other cool stuff.

I'm just a bit of SBD short of achieving this, so probably next month I'm going to be rolling out some quality content :)

This was the first milestone I had placed when starting my steemit journey and I'm happy to say it's almost achieved.
