The number ONE rule every writer ignores on steemit.

There are many tutorials and guides on how to be a writer here on the platform but they are lacking the most important part that people overall abuse.

Don't push yourself

That's right. The battle royale for great content is being upped every day and people are pushing hard to bring good content to the platform, being stimulated by the payouts.

Creative writing requires a focused mind. It requires being focused on what you are writing rather than the payouts and the statistics you will gain.

If we focus on the payout and the statistics we always have certain expectations, weighting our progress and making some stupid calculations about our growth, therefore without knowing it we will put more effort in research rather than writing good quality materials and we won't even know it.

Be grateful

Rather than being disappointed, be grateful for everything. You might have spent hours writing something hoping it would make a fortune but at the end it trends for 10c and you get discouraged and de-stimulated to write anything else after.

Rather look how that article made you a follower that will give you 10c on your next release, and you might find someone else to support you on the next one, one day reaching where you want to be.

Writing should bring you joy, not the payouts.
Expect nothing and you won't be disappointed, rather you will value every small bit of support you receive.

''Rather than being disappointed, be grateful for everything. You might have spent hours writing something hoping it would make a fortune but at the end it trends for 10c and you get discouraged and de-stimulated to write anything else after.''

After that happened I started posting meme photos and got triple...

Yeah that's the alternative :D my first posts made roughly like 10c each.
It was a good thing a whale noticed me and gave me a little stimulation push.
Otherwise just invest a month in writing good stuff and you will get better and better.
Bombing memes goes only so much :D

I think in time we will receive exactly the rewards we deserve :D

You raised some solid points. I would also say that you should not expect to make too much per post on average until you have at least 1,000 followers, which I think is a good goal to have and one that I plan to reach myself as soon as possible. So in the meantime, just focus on writing quality articles and forget about each post's profit potential. - @jarexx

That is exactly my goal too :) and you are beyond right ^^

Also, some people should just use Steemit to chat to friends and spread their friendships organically.

Many go from earning zero, zilch, nada on fakebook, to expecting a fortune on Steemit - take the cash gratefully and maybe buy a meal at the end of the month. Enjoy it! (both the meal and Steemit)

so much informative post thanks for share

Добре казано!
