Today my friend @mikefriedman messaged and told me that his account somehow got hacked, I was totally in shock.
I couldn't believe that someone can hack an account here on Steemit.
The guy who hacked his account called @drydoc46.
Please be aware of this person, He already withdrawn all my friends STEEM money and i saw on his account that he actually withdrawn money from other people as well. My guess is that he's hunting people's accounts here or something.
HACKERS
My friend is now trying to recover his account and get his passwords back, I think he used the MASTER KEY to log in, This is how the hacker got full access to his Steemit account. That's why i highly recommend you to use the POSTING KEY and not the MASTER KEY when you're just posting or upvoting posts.
Use the MASTER KEY just to recover your account, Save it somewhere safe so nobody can hack it. God damn it write it on a paper.
You can use your ACTIVE KEY if you want to transfer funds to different exchanges.

If you use gmail use their two factor authentication on your e-mail so people cant find you password and gain access to all that sensitive information.
