Thank You 350 Followers :) Who to Follow for Cryptocurrency News/Advice?

in steemit •  7 years ago  (edited)

So I've been thinking about giving trading cryptocurrencies a go. But like anything, it's good to do a little research first.

So i'm reaching out here for any help.

Question to the Steemit community:

Does anyone have a favourite Steem profile/YouTube Channel/Website they follow for Crypto news, updates, trading advice?

Also a big thank you to the 350 followers that are following my content ☺ You guys are legends!

First of all congratulations on 350 followers @viazenar. Secondly, the YouTube channels I watch are Crypt0's News. That's a good channel on the latest news about the cryptocurrency space as a whole. There's another guy on YouTube his channel is called HighOnCoins, he gives trading advise and what cryptos are doing good and have potential and which coins he doesn't like.

Thank you @kontora. Sounds great. Is the same guy on Steemit do you know? Might head to YouTube now :)

Best advice: don't listen blindly to anyone. If it does sound too good to be true, it usually is. Traders are a special breed. To succeed as a trader, you must have an oversight that is better than the market. To be a good investor on the other hand is easier. Patience is usually the key and follow rational choices instead of following the herd.

Find cases that are good. Steem is such a case with the growth we've seen. It might be the only thing you need. It is also a risk to fall for one particular case, so spreading the bets is key to a good nights sleep.

I like the points you've mentioned here. I guess I was using the term trader/investor interchangeably here but they are different. Steem is definitely the starting platform and could be all I need. Do you think it is worth investing dollar amount into my Steem account? And have you done so with yours?

Yes, I did. 50 dollars. Back in march.

@lewisglasgow has a lot of knowledge to offer. Been very helpful to me.

Otherwise: Dont trade what you cant loose :)

That's it! Thanks looks like good content on his page :)

Congrats of the followers. I find @jerrybanfield is very credible and gives great explanations of his view on the market and cryptonews in general. And very active with his posting

Thank you! Excellent. I'll have a look over his page. I've seen in pop up on my feed numerous times actually. Seems like it's definitely worth checking out.

Be very careful of trading especially if you are new. You dont need just a little research you need allot.

Remember trading is a zero sum game and you are competing with the professionals that do this for a job 8 - 10 hours a day. If you are not willing to put in the same commitment it is very likely that you will loose money.

Interesting... I guess with anything, hard work, dedication and time is key. I'll have to do further research.

Indeed. I would recommend starting a small buy and hold portfolio first to learn more about the coins.

Congrats.. Keep it up.. :)

Thanks! @agsupun

I like Euene on "Bit Coins and Coffee" . He is informative and credible ad not frantic like so many others are. It is a nice relaxed presentation of the news. Despite his title, it is not limited to Bitcoin. However, he doesn't provide specific investment advice or promote coins. So, if you want general knowledge on a fairly daily basis, he's your guy. Be careful of the folks who want to sell you stuff - promote themselves or their coins. Healthy skepticism is a key here.

Great, thank you :) Can he be found on Steemit? Or where is his content found?

Hi @viazenar, Cliff High at https://www.halfpasthuman.com is a pretty authentic and well respected source of information regarding crypto's these days.

He is the father of the Web bot project an internet linguistic set of predictive algorithms.

Other people worth checking out include @jsnip4 and @dollarvigilante.

I also watch Ameer Rosic on YouTube regularly: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaPSoa3hoxgouMd8YdlUwXQ

Great, thanks for the links. I'll have a look at them :)

Crypto trading is high risk high reward , is your body ready for that ? also for a beginner just focus on top 30 mcap coins, start doing your own research ! don't listen to anyone because most of the time you are buying on their profit !
