Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe, a nation echoing with cries of poverty, economic hardships, political instability and international segregation. It's a place where nothing is simple and straight forward. Things that should be simple and achievable by anyone such as putting a decent meal on the table have become a super hero's act. A country with one of the highest literacy rate in the world is one of the poorest. Ironic isn't it? We all have degrees that we can't use. With all our skills, talents and passions we have nowhere to apply them. And yet we all have something to say about our country and our situation, we all want to make ends meet and we all just want to express ourselves and to be heard. Is there any way all this can be achieved? The answer is YES!

Introducing Steemit

What an amazing innovation! This platform has reignited a dying fire in the hearts of many Zimbabweans as it has to many around the world. Where we didn't have a place to to freely express ourselves let alone get paid for it, Steemit came to our rescue. At a time when we needed a platform to reunite our people and begin to take action in restoring our nation to its glory days, some genius out there came up with Steemit. Now we can share our thoughts, grow our talents, interact with like minded fellows and get rewarded for it. But it's all up to us. And the first step is for us to embrace this platform and make full use of it.

The ball is in our court

Now I am calling on all Zimbabweans to join this network and showcase your talents. Let us not continue to wallow in self pity when we have an opportunity such as this to improve our situation and to make our voices heard. The power is now firmly back in our hands and we have the choice to use it or to sit back and wait. To those who chose to join, well done for being the pace setters and to those who don't, what more can I say except that you are missing out on a glorious opportunity.
