South Korea's virtual currency exchange Bithumb 27 said it would amend the anti money laundering regulations from 28 to a revised version. According to the revised edition, Bithumb will not accept NCCT users as new members, and the existing members (accounts) will also be closed in June 21st. This is a measure to prevent virtual currency from being used as an international terrorist or criminal fund. In addition, Bithumb will enhance the authentication process and residence verification process. In order to prevent fraud and support rapid recovery, Bithumb has developed regulations to prevent financial fraud.
