It would be really interesting if you could calculate the value of the curation dollars the bots get back on the posts they promote. It’s a bit of a hidden “tax”. Considering the bots are typically the largest curators they get back a sizable % of the vote value.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
