The biggest difference between my voting yesterday and today is that there are more votes in each category. Putting the knowledge I gained yesterday into action, I decided that in order to take the weekend off without losing any opportunity to influence with my upvote I would need to get those 80 additional votes in over the course of the work week. 80 votes divided over five days comes out to 16 additional votes. I then allocated them proportionally to each category, the numbers in the corners indicating what the new daily total should be in each category. Since I didn't start this yesterday I will still lose 16 votes by Sunday night but I'm not going to worry about it. I want to give the new totals a try this week to see if I can even manage it.

The self upvote on this post is not included in the "for wiser" column, but will be added by tomorrow.

I had to hunt down a lot more small minnows to upvote, but it was well worth it.

I learned some interesting things from my feed, including the creation of a brand new @steemshop account to support a marketplace, the existence of a Steem faucet which I can't wait to try out, and how @anwenbaumeister used her Steemit earnings to build a really cool permaculture farm.

My current SteemWhale rank is 3267. My voting strength is at 82.67%. I expect it to deplete further until I am done voting on Friday, and it can recover while I am not voting on Saturday and Sunday. My reputation score is at 55.3.

And I composed this entire post, including taking and uploading the photo, on an iPad with a one year old baby on my lap.

I admire your organization and very methodical approach to using Steemit... seems like it is working out pretty well for you, too!

Thanks! Yes, it is working out so far :)

Thanks for the mention :)

You're welcome. I think it's a great concept.

How much increase in time did the extra votes take?

It definitely took longer, but it's not like I've timed myself before and after. I don't get to do all my curating at once, so it's hard to even estimate how long it really takes. I think once I get used to the new level it will be doable. I feel like I can be more thorough with 56 votes, but I doubt I could handle any more.

Interesting approach to using your time wisely! I can appreciate your logic.
