I just caught myself developing a habit here on Steemit. And I was wondering if this something that other people also do on Steemit or if it is just me? I started doing this whenever I found a good post with advice or tips on how to succeed, but now I find myself doing it all the time.
I just can't stop checking other Steemians Wallets! I just can't stop. Whenever I read a post of an experienced Steemian I just have to check their wallet. How much Steem and Steem Power do they have, what is their estimated account value? I just have to know!
It's like I am measuring the worth of the advice and tips by the value of their wallet.
Let me know if this is just me doing this and if you think that this is a bad habit.

I check the wallets to see where they are keeping the payments so I can do the same since I don't really understand all that. It does really work. They are not all doing the same thing. I just looked a yours, not bad!

I think its a natural thing to do as we tend to think that if their advice works it should reflect on their wallet. Being new here I have caught myself doing that. I think my possibly bad habit is I don't ask anyone to up vote my posts as I get shy lol. Btw upvoted!

I have a bad habit of mine too, mate, and is publishing more than 4 posts per day. Just yesterday I've published six posts, and someone told me not to abuse about it.
Now, about checking their wallets... I did that sometimes, but just for curiosity.

I understood that if you published more than 4 post in 24 hours that you were taxed for the extra posts. I read it somewhere in a guideline for newcommers

Hello Wallsnow, thank you for the compliment. I have been lucky to have 2 trending posts. Unfortunately I don't have Steem dollars, everything I earned I put back into Steem Power. I upvoted your latest Post though. Hope that helps
