On Monday, April 1st local time, artificial intelligence (AI) company OpenAI announced that it will allow users to directly use ChatGPT without registering for the service, making it easier for people to experience the potential of artificial intelligence.
OpenAI stated that it will gradually launch this feature starting from Monday, allowing over 100 million users in 185 countries and regions to use ChatGPT to learn new things, seek creative inspiration, and obtain answers to questions. At the end of 2022, OpenAI officially released the artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT, which sparked a wave of artificial intelligence worldwide. It can mimic human conversations and perform tasks such as creating long text summaries, writing poetry, and even generating creativity for themed parties.
According to data analysis company Similarweb, the traffic growth of this popular service has started to slow down since ChatGPT reached its peak of 1.8 billion global visits in May 2023.
