This is my fifth post in this challenge. My previous entry to this challenge:
What Is Your Main Reason For Staying On Steemit? - May 30 Days Writing Challenge by @dragosroua.
Since the challenge only mentions 3 things, it's a real challenge, because I could mention much more.
Don't get me wrong, Steemit is not a bad place, just... I don't even know how to express this...
Number one: Less selfishness
I am on Steemit since 2017 May 17 (355 days). Perhaps you would like to know what is the biggest selfishness (selfishness at it's best, really) that I have seen since then.
Let's start with an example. If you are following me (and really reading my posts), you are already know this example.
Let's say you work hard on a post. You put more than one hour into the post. You publish it. The post will have - for example - $0.03 pending payout a few hours later.
Someone comes and writes a two words comment (like "Nice post!") and upvote it (their own comment) with like $1 INSTEAD of your post! I think that you are agree with me, when I say that this is selfishness at it's best. This is the biggest selfishness. I have seen this both under my own posts and under the posts of the community.
Number two: More real interactions, less fake people, less spam
I think it's enough to check the Steemit page of a lot of people. Probably the majority. Most of the people. Or let's say a lot of people. Because a lot of people doesn't receiving comments at all and even if they do, it's mostly spam or spam-like. It really feels bad, when you put a lot of effort (time and work) into your posts and you don't receive comments at all.
Number three: More visibility to Steemit posts in general
I currently have 725 followers on Steemit and my current reputation is 53.5, but I mostly receiving less than 10 upvotes on my posts and only a few comments. Or no comments at all. If I see the number of followers and my reputation, I would expect something totally different.
Okay, it's already more than three.
I mentioned three things only in the "Number two" section, so I actually mentioned 5 things all in all.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and thank you to all of you for your continuous support!
See you tomorrow!
