Today I would like to introduce you to the ZetoChain crowdsdale project, which is based on blockade technology and future technology principles - the Internet of Things (IoT).

They couldn’t survive for too long without food and water. To find solution to this, they would climb high on top of mountains and strip down to their holy garment before entering their meditative state. They have learnt about the cold weather atop the mountain and exposure to this chilly weather reduced their body demands for food or water. Thus letting them concentrate more on meditation and other sacred task. This bought them extra time and they could penance for a longer time. They used this cold to their advantage and they met their end goal.
The sun, rain, cold or heat is all important if we know how to use this energy to our benefit. Here, I'd be talking about the cold or more specifically, the importance of the cold chain in the fruit and veggie supply mechanism and how ZetoChain is planning to achieve this feat via blockchain technology.
The primary end use of food is to be consumed. Loss or waste of food occurs when it is not eaten or gets spoilt before reaching the final consumer or the market.
Food loss/wastage can be minimized by making sure all produce harvested reaches meets its intended end use. That is, the food supply chain must aim to counter this menace of food spoilage and extend its saleable life cycle. This can only be achieved by cold chain mechanism.
Cold chain applies technology to barely extend the marketable time to of a perishable product, for a known duration.
Cold chain buys time by temporarily countering perishability. This allows produce owners more time to reach buyers, to expand their market coverage and to achieve greater economic value for their produce.
Cold chain is a mere logistics tool and not storage, a service that uses cooling and other techniques, to make it feasible to access multiple markets taking perishable produce where it could not normally have reached.
Understand cold-chain as a bridge, not as a storage system. When used as a physical conduit to markets, cold chain is always successful as it then expands the geographical reach of producers, and by reaching more consumers provides real cause to produce more at farms. With cold chain, food production increases and food spoilage is drastically reduced.
