This is some exciting milestone for the Steem-blockchain as it hits 1million users of the steemit platform. This was shared 2days ago by @steemitblog in a blog post which you can read about here

Steemit is a social media platform that rewards content publishers for the good content created. I take off this opportunity to congratulate and appreciate the great work of @ned together with the great #promo-steem leaders @starkerz @stephenkendal @steem-ambassador @anarcotech and the rest of the busy promoters all over the world for the great continuous efforts each of them is injecting in to see the prosperity of steem. Together we are soaring high like an eagle.

What’s the implication?

Progress/achievement

This implies progress in the spreading awareness and adoption of the platform by many. A great joy and pride to the many busy steemians spreading awareness of the Steem/Steemit platform in the various nations all over the world. Hard work indeed pays off. Am so glad to be a part of this achievement as number of people have joined this platform courtesy of my efforts.

A huge Motivation to all the committed steem promoters

Working hard and being a result oriented person can be very a frustrating thing when you don’t see results in what you are doing. With these current news and milestone am pleased to say that we are motivated to continue promoting Steemit in whichever to see that the numbers keep growing every other day.

Increase in value of Steem

As the numbers have increased to a million users as it stands now. I greatly believe that this has a great contribution to the increase in the value of steem as people are getting exposed and enlightened about steem on the steem ecosystem. Even if some people join with an excitement of just earning and pulling out money from Steemit. Their mind set is transformed along the way as they keep interaction with this steem-blockchain. These all come to the knowledge that for every Steemian to thrive on this platform has to make an investment in one way or the other that is through creating good content that can attract many people that browse the internet in search of some valuable information. They can as well invest in steem with a purpose of getting more influential and earn more interest from their investments through curation.

Increase in traffic/activity on the platform

It’s predicted that there are over 250,000 daily new visitors of the steem-blockchain who at a greater extent get attracted and visit the Steemit platform through the great valuable content that several steemians keep publishing.
This huge number implies a great number of content creators who are publishing great and valuable content that will attract many people out there who are on the search of information on the different websites. I believe these will always be directed to the steem-blockchain and hence get prompted to learn about it.

Increase in the daily steem transactions

This increased and ever increasing number of new steemians coming on board implies an increase in the steem transactions rate which is enabling steem to thrive on the coin market cap setting up a very big challenge for other coins. Steem is believed to have the highest transaction rate as of now and hence this is a big success and achievement raising curiosity of how steem is thriving in this arena. In the process I believe many more great investors in crypto are picking interest in investing in steem.

A great dealing with Poverty/unemployment problem in the world

Due to the reward system of Steemit with the rest of other platforms under it such as busy, Dlive, Dtube. This system is greatly solving a problem of unemployment all over the world. As many people like me are being greatly sustained by this steem-blockchain. Many people’s standard of living in being improved as people get more committed to the contributing to the steem community.

Keeping other factors constant. The increase in the number of Steemit Users is prompting many to make huge investments in steem as the future is being fore casted/ fore told by the increasing number of users. Steemit is designed in a way that people keep creating good content, a case in point is some quality steem crypto blog posts that are ever enlightening many newbies about the beauty of steem hence providing a good ground for many to make a bold decision to invest in steem.

As CCN reported in 2016, Steemit is a social media platform that encourages quality content production and discussions with a voting system. Votes translate to Steem and Steem Dollars (SBD) tokens, which can be exchanged for real money or other digital assets. The Steemit platform acts as an alternate way to earn income for content publishers who usually have to rely on obtrusive ads or paywalls. However, the project has long-standing struggles with bots and malicious players who try to game the voting system, as the popular user @kevinwong writes. Still, the numbers do speak for themselves, as Steemit had only 2,000 active users in 2016. Also, according to the project’s website, it has so far paid out $40,154,371 USD in rewards since June 2016.
