Sometimes while I'm in class and everyone else is having a conversation…I'm doodling.

I know how to interact with people but for whatever reason when I'm in class I just don't look for conversation. I take that moment to work on a piece that I haven't had time for. A single dad that works full time and goes to school full time doesn't always get to do things that he likes. So I sketch ideas or doodle usually with some headphones on and a variety of music playing. So I decided to share some of them with all of you here in the Steemiverse.

Me too. I was doodling too since I was like 5. I drew the turtles. I was also drawing Indians. Sometimes, I drew castles in the 1990's. Some people are artists. Others talk.

The octa-bear is the stuff of nightmares!

What class allows you to put on headphones and do art like that?

I usually show up 10-15 minutes early, So I have a little time before the professor shows up.

I suggest you read this: https://steemit.com/steemit/@thecryptofiend/the-steemit-etiquette-guide-illustrated-by-klye. The appropriate paragraph would be the following "If your post does not directly relate to a particular tag you shouldn't be using it. A post about trumpets that just happens to have a photo of a trumpet in it should not be tagged with "photography", similarly a post discussing DASH is fine in "cryptocurrency" but should not be tagged with "ethereum". Tag spamming annoys people and rather than getting you extra upvotes is likely to get you a flag."
Don't use popular tags that don't apply. In this case it is steemit. Please use proper etiquette.

I've tried several times to edit my posts after your first comment. For whatever reason it won't let me update the post after I edit it. It keeps saying that the tag I removed is still there.

Just put the first tag (then space, no comma) next tag etc. like this
art life photography
If it still doesn't work, just remember the first tag is the most important and it should be the one most appropriate to your subject. Try to do it for your next post. Good luck.

I will definitely do that, thanks for the help.

in class you should try and study only - worthy people/ friends respect diligence

I'm running it on OS X, not sure if thats why I am having issues with editing posts or not.

I'm currently a big fan of Octobear.
