The post is not necessarily happy. YouTube is a top/big contender within media and I'm putting my opinion that steemit will surpass YouTube, simply because of it's system. Even without videos like YouTube, real but interesting stories will be read and up voted to earn appreciation rather than views. There is nothing better in media than truth.
