Birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW

Prophet Muhammad SAW was born in Makkah on Monday the 12th of Rabi'ul Awwal or coinciding with April 20, 571 AD Prophet Muhammad is the son of the couple Abdullah bin Abdul Muthallib and Siti Aminah bint Wahab.

The birth of the Prophet is called the year of the elephant. The naming of the Elephant year is related to the events of the Elephant troops led by Abraha, the Yemeni Governor who wanted to destroy the Ka'bah. But before reaching the city of Mecca, they were attacked by a troop of birds carrying hot pebbles (inscribed on QS Al-Fil: 1-5).

At the age of Rasulullah SAW two months are in the womb of his mother, when his father Abdullah died and was buried in the city of Madinah Al Munawwarah. The mother is very sad because later when the child is born, He has become an orphan (do not have a father). When the Prophet was still in the womb, many miracles occurred, such as the opening of the paradise gate, the destruction of the army of elephants, the world illuminated by the bright light, the previously dry lands become fertile. Dense and leafy leafy timber trees.

The birth of Prophet Muhammad had many features. The birth of the Prophet Muhammad became a thousand signs that He will be the last messenger in conveying the message of Islam. The mother, Siti Aminah when it saw Prophet Muhammad SAW in a state lying down and his hands raised to the sky just as people who are praying. Then his mother saw the clouds coming down and enveloping him and he listened to a call "Lead him to the eastern and western hemisphere, so that they will know that he will blot out all kinds of shirk."

The whole universe was amazed by the Prophet Muhammad SAW because of his enchanted and extraordinary light from Muhammad's young son. Every eye that looked at him felt amazed.

This remarkable birth event is called Irhas. Irhas is a very unusual occurrence for a normal human and occurs only in a Prophet.

Based on these events it is clear that the birth of Prophet Muhammad SAW has its own privileges. This is because he is khatamun nubuwwah or as the cover of all the Prophets. Such extraordinary events have proved to us his glory in the sight of God, as well as proof of his apostleship. In addition the evidence is also described in earlier books such as the Torah, Zabur and the Gospels as the last apostles.

Not only about his birth alone is admired by all people, but he is also greatly admired by all people. His history of life is also through various phases that are full of independence and struggle.

That is about the birth of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Warning Mawlid of the Prophet himself can have meaning to imitate the footsteps of the Sunnah of the Prophet who has been inherited. He is the living example of many people. Exemplary that will always be worth following every generation of all current and future generations.
